Spine related pain or injuries are tricky. They’re a sensitive area and often were taught to fear a spine related diagnosis.

I get it, I’ve been there. I herniated my L4 & L5 in a kickboxing class a few years ago; I was hunched over like Notre Dam for more than a month. Specialists told me I’d need to be careful & stop playing sport. To try more gentle & low impact options instead.

What they didn’t tell me (because they didn’t assess my posture or full body) was my spine was compensating for other areas in my body NOT doing their job.
